Show NEWS FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport The young marrieds enjoyed a Reader's Theatre at the Church Saturday evening un-1 un-1 tier the direction of Mr. and I Mrs. Fred Whicker and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson. A I number of entertaining readings read-ings were given by memlbers of the group. Also Mr. and Mrs. Johnson presented two comic skits. Each couple brought snack foods which were served buffet style. Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Dal-ley Dal-ley and family have enjoyed visits from family mem'bers recently. Mrs. Albert Mitchell was here from Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet and family fam-ily came from New Castle. And Mrs. Maude Strate was here from St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow Far-row traveled to Las Vegas Saturday to visit their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Corder. They also visited with Mrs. Farrow's ibrother and wife Mr. and Mrs. Ordell Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Cox and children spent Saturday in Alton with their folks, the Allen Al-len Cox family. Dee El Stapley traveled to Salt Lake City Monday of last week to attend school meetings. meet-ings. Mrs. Virgie Mickelson accompanied him north to spend a week or two visiting with her son and family, the Melvin Mitchell's. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport enjoyed a trip to Zion Park Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ricke Edwards and two sons spent several days last week here with their parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Mrs. J. Frank Dalley was in Panguitch last week to attend funeral services for her brother, bro-ther, George Gardiner, who died in a Salt Lake City hospital hos-pital following surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Denny Wood-ard Wood-ard and daughters are vacationing vaca-tioning this week in the Denver, Den-ver, Colo, area with Mr. Wood-ard's Wood-ard's folks. |
