Show Red Hill Wranglers elect, plan '72 season activities The Red Hill Wranglers, local lo-cal riding club members, met last Saturday night for the purpose of electing new officers offi-cers and to make plans for the coming season. The meeting meet-ing was held in the Gun and Rob clubhouse according to Mrs, Mary Gae Evans, club reporter. To begin with, a pot luck dinner was served to 24 members, mem-bers, after which the last year's president, Norman Evans Ev-ans thanked the members of the club for their support during dur-ing the past year. He also ie- minded them of things ahead, of the Jamboree for all the members of the Utah State Western Riding Clubs Association Associa-tion which will be held Jan. 29 in the Terrace Ballroom in Salt Lake City The club then voted to join U S W R C A again this year and also the Utah Thoroughbred Thorough-bred Racing Association. In the election of officers for 1972, Roy Whitlock was named nam-ed president, to succeed Mr. Evans. Charles Boardman was named vice president, Norm Evans, racing chairman; Larry Lar-ry Tullis, rodeo chairman; Vyonne Chamberlain and Garry Gar-ry Bentley, games and drills, Mary Gae Evans, publicity; Joe Stubbs, K Chamberlain and Woodrow Watson, track and grounds and Renec Savage,, Sav-age,, trail rides. Activities following the jamboree jam-boree next week will begin with che Memorial annualx with the annual Memorial Day Race Meet. |
