Show I NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Mrs. Norma Christensen Mrs. Harriet Jones traveled to Logan with a group of other ladies from Iron County where they attended the annual Leadership School held at the Utah State University. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen and family were Sunday Sun-day visitors in Leeds at the home of Katherine's folks, Mr. and Mrs. David Stirling. and family were Sunday visitors vis-itors in Msequite, Nev., at the home of Nita Rae's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reber. Boyd Christensen flew to Salt Lake City Sunday to visit his brother Caine Christensen who is a patient at the University Univer-sity Hospital. Caine was operated op-erated on last week and had his left leg amputated. Dr. I Sherman Beacham, formerly of j New Castle, has been one of the doctors on the case. Boyd reports that Caine seems to be doing fine. Mrs. Beverly Evans and baby daughter of Cedar City visited her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen over the weekend. Mrs. Norma Thomas of Enterprise En-terprise visited at the home of her mother, Mrs. Cassie Christensen. Chris-tensen. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Sydney) (Syd-ney) Terry and little son of Enterprise visited at the home of their mother, Mrs. Mary Tullis. I Mrs. Shirley Hart spent sev-I sev-I eral days last week in Order-I Order-I ville with her mother, Mrs. Amy Crofts, who has been ill. Mrs. Bea Piatt and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Woolsey visited in New Harmony last week at the home of Bea's father, James L. Prince, and other family members. Fern Beacham traveled to Salt Lake City Sunday where she was to attend a union meeting, and also visit her mother, Mrs. Effie Beacham. Effie has been released from the hospital and is presently staying at the home of another an-other daughter, Mrs. Doug (Sharon) Seals and family in Tooele. Miss Jeannie Forsyth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth has been home on vacation the past two weeks, and returned Sunday to her job in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet |
