Show Final Rites Honor Frank E. Stevens Funeral services for Frank E. (Pete) Stevens, 64, who died Sunday, Oct. 8, were held on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 2 p. m. in the First-Second Ward chapel. cha-pel. Bishop Rupert S. Hulet of the Second Ward conducted the services and Mrs. Ola Robinson Rob-inson was at the organ for prelude and postlude music. Speakers were Gordon Farns-worth Farns-worth and Howard Joseph with remarks by Bishop Hulet. The prayer at the home was offered offer-ed by Alfred Wilcock. Ivan Orton offered the invocation, Webster Betridge the benediction, benedic-tion, and the grave in the Parowan City cemetery was dedicated by Robert Stevens, a brother of the deceased. Musical numbers included a vocal duet "In the Garden", by Marian Hyatt and Rula D. 1 Orton; a vocal solo "I'll Walk with God" by Howard Knight, both numbers being accompanied accompa-nied by Mary Lyman,; and an organ medley by Ola Robinson. Robin-son. Pallbearers were Charles Mew, Vern Reed, Bryan Sherwood, Sher-wood, Grant Stevens, Jack Stevens Ste-vens and Jed Riding Flowers were carried by nieces and grandchildren. |
