Show Audio-Visual Center For Southern Utah Gets Federal Grant A $14,428 grant has been awarded the seven county area of Beaver, Iron, Millard, Kane, Piute, Garfield and Washington for the purpose of planning a Audio-Visual Materials Center in southern Utah. Dr. Joe Reidhead, superintendent superintend-ent of tlie Iron County School District, Dis-trict, stated that the Center has been funded by the United States Office of Education under Title III of the Elementary-Secondary Act of 1905. In connection with the granting of funds the Audio-Visual Center the seven counties to be served are now accepting applications for an employee to carry out a planing project. Applicants must have a bachelor's bache-lor's degree, preferably a master's, and at least three years experience exper-ience in education. Applicantions will be accepted at the Iron County Coun-ty School Board offices at 75 North 300 West in Cedar City until un-til 5 p. m., May 2, Dr. Reidhead stated. |
