Show I NEWS OF ACTIVITIES IN SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Devenport A fine ixrformance of the play, "Bandit Ben Rides Again," was enjoyed by the townspeople last Friday evening with most of the Irimary age boys and girls taking tak-ing part in the cowboy and Indian In-dian comedy. DeAnn Staplcy and Mark Da Hey had leading parts, and IX-eEl Staplcy accompanied the musical numbers on the piano. pia-no. Mrs. Winnie Thompson directed di-rected the play and was assisted by Mrs. Mary Uiwrence. Punch, popcorn, cookies and candy were sold and all proceeds will be used for playground equipment The 1 11 Club boys and girls left here Monday morning for atl overnight stay at Duck Creek. Mrs. Peterson's daughter, Mrs. Georgia Matheson of Parowan is visiting here at the present time. Wednesday evening visitors at the home of Mrs. Hulda Peterson were her granddaughter and family. Dr. and Mrs. Jay Blake and four children of Washington, Utah. Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Matheson Mathe-son were guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Davis in Cedar City on Sat- , urday where they enjoyed the Pioneer Day activities. Mr and Mrs. Ted Fife and son Gillman left Friday for a work's ! vacation at Flaming Gorge Dam, i , with their daughter Mrs. Mack Rider and family of Salt Lake City end a'.so members of Mrs. Fife's family of Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Humph- crys, Mark and Lori, returned I homo last week from a three i week's vacation trip to Iowa by way of Colorado and New Mcx-' Mcx-' ico. The Humphcrys' daughter Patricia Pa-tricia of Salt Lake City, came to spend the week end with them and they took her home Sunday. i Mr. and Mrs. Mux ITince and , throe children of Imperial Beach, Calif., arrived here Sat unlay for 'an overnight stay with a brother, I James Prince and family. j Robert Hartshorn returned here Friday after attending summer school in Cleveland, Ohio. His wife Zina and sons, Paul and Barry have been here with Zina's father, Merl Radford, but will be leaving for their home in Calex- j ica, Calif, this week. I Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Dalley and family of Panguitch were Sunday visitors at the home of I Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Dee El Staplcy and four children traveled to Las Vegas, Nev. Saturday to visit I with the DeLynn Chamberlains. j They returned home on Monday. Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley spent the holiday week end at Bryce Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker spent Saturday in Mlnersvllle and Panguitch.
