Show NewKiwanisClub Officers Installed at meet Charles Rasmussen was installed install-ed as president of the Cedar City Klwanis Club in ceremonies Monday Mon-day evening. The installation of officers was made by Lee Em-pey Em-pey of Cedar City, ' lieutenant Governor of the Utah-Idaho District Dis-trict of Kiwanis International. Other officers installed at the meeting were Jess Pickett, Paro-wan, Paro-wan, as vice president; Robert C. Hansen, secretary; and Hal Anderson, An-derson, Rex Erickson and James Hoyle, Jr., as members of the board of directors. Wives of the Kiwanians were on hand for the annual event with Dixie Leavit handing over the reigns of the clvii organization organiza-tion to Rasmussen in the traditional tradi-tional gavel exchange. Holdover members who will complete the organization body of the club include Ivan Orton, Albert Adams and Earl Hanson. One vacancy exists on the board, the new president indicated. indicat-ed. Don Machen, who was elect- nA n. U cently been transferred to Provo. The board will name a replacement replace-ment early this month. All committees are organized for the year and activity is expected ex-pected to move ahead immediately, immedi-ately, it was Indicated. Retiring president is Dixie Lea-vitt. Lea-vitt.
