Mr. Edwards had with him a Schematic drawing of the proposed pro-posed building for presentation to the board for its approval. Mr. Edwards explained the drawings to the board and it approved them and instructed the firm to go ahead with the preparation of blueprints for the structure. Mr. Edwards stated that the plans and specifications would a prepared as soon as possible with the call for bids to be issued is-sued in time for construction to begin late in August or early in September. This will allow for the completion of outside concrete con-crete work before cold weather arrives. In addition to the modern library li-brary facilities, the building is planned to house the Parowan City office in the north portion of it, as well as a small audi torium on the west. There will be an outside reading court that will open up into both the auditorium audi-torium and library, according to contemplated plans. |
