Show Mexican Exchange Students Honored A very delightful time was spent last Saturday evening on the patio of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mitchell here. The affair af-fair was given in honor of the five Mexican Exchange Students, who have been here for the past several weeks from Mexico. The party was hosted by the Karl Mitchells, Roy Stubbs, Don Applcgates, Rupert Hulets and George Rowleys with members of their families in attendance. A buffet supper was served after af-ter which those present were entertained en-tertained by Spanish folk dancing danc-ing by their young guests. The latter part of the evening was spent in visiting. Thirty-three people were present, pres-ent, including two young men exchange students who had come down from Salt Lake City to spend the week end in Parowan with the five who were here. The young lady members of the exchange group left the first of the week for a few days in Salt Lake City as a part of their visit in the United States, while the boys remained in Parowan for a few more days. Honored guests at the party were Miss Lupita Suarez, Miss Lairra Gonzales, Miss Elena Loustannau, and Fernando Felix and Enrrique Tapia, who have been here for four weeks and the two visitors, Victor Iribe and Ar-. Ar-. mando Block, all of whom are from Hcrmocillo, Mex. |
