Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS By Hannah Davis Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peterson and Mr. Graham of Las Vegas visited a short time with Dale's grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams, Wil-liams, j An illustrated lecture on can-' cer was presented by Dr. J. S. Prestwich to a group of ladies here Friday evening. His talk was filled with information adapted to the case and given in j a pleasing manner. A short dis- cussion period was enjoyed. He was accompanied by Alta John-1 son, county cancer chairman; Mrs. Florence Cardon and Blaine Stapley. j Mrs. Lyle Plait and daughter Alice spent a few days in Salt Lake City with her children. llottie Pollock is in Las Vegas with some of her children for a visit Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Williams and son Brad were home for a few days from Ivins, Utah where he has employment. Chesley Williams spent a few days in Summit with his rela-i tives, the Rudger Fife family. The MIA held a social Tuesday Tues-day evening. Mar. 10, at the ward recreation hall under the leadership leader-ship of Carma Williams. All wore hats of their own make, en-i en-i joyed dancing, games and re-j re-j freshments were served. Mary Hanna Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dclile Davis and ! Sharon Cornelius, daughter of Mr. ,and Mrs. Jim Cornelius, visited With a friend Helen Dcmille at Cedar City. I Paul Williams and daughter i Peggy, and Velma Peterson, were here over the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jes Williams, and other relative. Marvin Christensen was accompanied ac-companied by his mother RL-'Ja Christensen, his aunts, Mary M. and Francis Williams, to Iftm-cane Iftm-cane Sunday afternoon to visit their brother Sam L. Pollock, who Is there with his daughter Mildred Mild-red Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Howard Jackson and daughter of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams. Jennie Williams, Lynn Koeves and Fern Bauer visited in St. George with their father and grandfather, W. C. Reeves at th rest home. His condition was very very poor. Alice Pollock visited In Last Vegas with some of her children. She was accompanied on her return re-turn by her daughter Vaughn Isom, who has been there nd In California for most of the winter win-ter with her children.
