Show Cedar City Women Voters to Visit Legislature Tentatively three members of the Cedar City chapter of the League of Women Voters are nlnnn(f tn ?nd S aA-rwn sored "Day at the Legislature" In Salt Lake City, Wednesday, Feb. 20. Those who have tentatively made arrangements to make the excursion are Mrs. Karl Gardner, president of the Cedar City league; Mrs. Dale Milne, voter service chairman, and Mrs. Dur. rel Corry, public relations chair- Mrs. Roger Bailey, president of the State League of Women Vot-ers Vot-ers will host the visitors at her home In Salt Lake City Wednes-day Wednes-day morning for a briefing before the group moves to the capltol building to attend public sessions ses-sions of the State Senate and House' of Representatives. During the afternoon Mrs. Brig-ham Brig-ham Roberts, state legislative chairman, will be hostess for the ladies at her home. During the afternoon the group will hold a reception at the house lounge conference room at which time those In attendance will have an opportunity to meet with mem-bers mem-bers of both Senate and House. Displays to be erected at the capitol building for the event will Include one from Cedar City dealing with locally conducted surveys, It is understood. |
