Playoff Gives Tourney Spot to Tigers After being the co-leaders of the Millard Division basketball race for the past several weeks, the Milford Tigers f.v.i Delta Rab-its Rab-its came through with victories last Friday to end the race In a tie. Then in the playoff game on Monday night at Fillmore, the Milford team won the division crown and a place in the Class B State tournament by defeating the Rabbits by a 73 to 61 score. Last Friday Delta won from Beaver at the latter place by a 52-47 score and Milford sent Par-wan Par-wan down to defeat by a 6G-46 score In the latter game Coach Lowell Caldwell's Rams were not outclassed as far as the score would Indicate, although trailing throughout most of the games. .Much of the difference In the final score can be attributed to fouls called and foul shooting The victors only outscored the Rims three baskets from the foP nd Parowan led in field goals by one at the end of the first half.
