Now is the time to get ready for a fall of hunting fun. Winter Hunting Opportunities Cold winter weather and good rabbit hunting go hand in hand. Top shooting opportunities should continue through the month of March in Cedar Valley and the surrounding foothills. Mr. Cottontail likes to come out and set in the sun in the early ear-ly morning and late evening Just before sundown.
