Show Cedar Concert Band Readies Jan. 15 Radio Broadcast The Cedar City high school band will present its first 1952 radio concert on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 6 p. m. over KSUB. The program is composed of standard and popular band literature which should be of interest to all music lovers. The band includes 63 high school musicians under the direction of A. B. Larson. The program will be as follows; 1. Brass Triumphant, March, by Holmes. 2. The Golder Dragon, Overture, King. 3. Mexican Hat Dance, folk song, arranged by Bennett. 4. Movements No. 2, "Quesada," and No. 3,t "Las Palmas," from the Suite "Espagnole,, by Fulton. 5. Cole Porter selections, a med ley including "Love for Sale," "What Is This Thing Called Love," "Old Fashioned Garden," "Aitything Goes," and "Night and Day',, ar-ranged ar-ranged by Bennett. |
