Show 1 1 Adult Education Classes Launched Eleven adult education classes got under way in Cedar City this week for persons interested in subjects ranging from furniture furni-ture refinishing to current affairs. af-fairs. Another class, lampshade making, is scheduled to open next week, according to Mrs. D. C. Dix, coordinator of adult education edu-cation for the Iron County schools. More than 100 persons attended attend-ed the initial sessions, or are expected to attend during the first three meetings. Each class must have at least 10 registered and regularly attending members mem-bers in order to continue, Mrs. Dix said.- However, there is still time to set up other courses than those -already listed if enough interest is shown. Although formal registration was completed Thursday evening, eve-ning, Jan. 3, persons interested in any class may attend and register regis-ter with the instructor, according accord-ing to Mrs. William Snow, registrar regis-trar for the program. |
