Show LtThiel Reeves Bags Second MIG in Korea First Lt. Thiel M. Reeves, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Otto Reeves, Cedar City, scored his second air victory of the Korean War recently when he damaged a Russian-built MIG jet fightor over North Korea., His second aerial triumph came on Dec. 27, Just a few weeks after the first, according to Air Force records. Lt. Reeves has been flying jet fighters in Korea for seven months, having enlisted in the air force in 1947 while a senior at Cedar City high school. After five months active service with the Air Force, he returned to Cedar City and graduated with his class. He then resumed his training at Randolph Air Force base, later taking more training In Arizona and Washington. His wife, Mrs. Mary Anita Reeves, is now living in Ephrata, Washington. According to word received by his parents, Lt. Reeves was recently re-cently promoted to flight leader i in his squadron. |
