Rul-ers. Rotary Rangers, who were tied for first place last week dropped one against Columbia Friday evening to drop to second place. ' Kiwanis Kubs moved from a tie for fourth place to third this week storing two wins, one over the Columbia Miners and the other over Milne's. Rotary gave Milne' their filth loss Tuesday evening to stay in second place. Two fames, this evening and Friday vtphl will finish the first round of play and mark the end of the first quarter. Monday the teams start the cycle all over again with the Kiwanis and Lions tangling as the six go into the bottom .quarter of the first half. Each team, after Friday evening will have played every other team. Also it will mark the end of the fifth game for each, and all pitchers used from that point on will be registered for the remainder of the year. A staff can consist of no more than two 12 year old boys and must have at least one 10 year old or under, with five pitchers to be registered by each team. This evening, Thursday, the F.Iks entertain Columbia and Friday Fri-day evening the Rotary and Lions teams tangle in what should be an outstanding game with the league lead at stake for the Tamers. Tuesday of next week Rotary meets the Elks Rulers and Wednesday Wed-nesday Milnes and Columbia tangle. |
