Freeing cattle of lice Is said to save up to 20 percent on the winter feed bill. A few suggestions sugges-tions may help Iron County owners own-ers to save many cattle: 1. Dip or spray during warmer periods of fall or winter. Repeat in 16 to 20 days If rotenone solution Is used.' 2. Use 4 pounds of 50 percent wettable DDT to each 100 gallons of water to dip or spray. 3. It is not safe to use oil solutions solu-tions of DDT on cattle at any time.
