Show Army Offers High School Graduate Attractive Career High school graduates who can qualify for enlistment in the Army Ground forces will find attractive opportunities for a career in the Artillery, Armored Cavalry or Infantry In-fantry through a combination of leadership training and the Army's new preselected school plan, First Sgt. Staker of the Cedar City Army and Air Force Recruiting office disclosed dis-closed here today. Sgt. Staker explained that these two training programs, when combined, com-bined, prepares a man for the responsibility re-sponsibility and proficiency required requir-ed of non-commlssoned officers and for officer candidate training. The Potential Leaders' Course, Sgt Staker continued, Is an opportunity for all tecrults who show ability as potential leaders and possess keen intelligence. The Preselected School Plan makes It possible for all men between the ages of 17 and 34, Inclusive, In-clusive, with a high school education educa-tion or its equivalent, to choose their own Army specialist training course before they enlist. The Army and Air Force Recruiting Recruit-ing offices, located at 95 North Main street, will provide full Information Inform-ation on other advantages of these programs. Interested and qualified persons may also obtain application forms from the local office. |
