Show Last Rites Held In Kanarra for Mrs. Ellenor Pollock Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed In Kanarra Wednesday afternoon after-noon for Mrs. Ellenor Matilda Davis Pollock, 74, wife of Samuel L. Pollock and lifetime resident of Kanarra. Mrs. Pollock, who had been in ill health for a number num-ber of years, died at her home early Monday morning of ailments ail-ments incident to age. . She was born in Kanarra on January 26, 1876, a daughter of James A. and Polly Williams Davis. Da-vis. She married Mr. Pollock in the St. George Temple on Dec. 10. 1895. Always active in L D S church affairs she served as an officer in the Relief Society for many years. Mrs. Pollock is survived by her husband, Kanarra; 14 sons and daughters, Emery L. Pollock, Srtlt Lake City; James L and Verl D. Pollock, and Mrs. Violet LaBass, San Fernando, Calif.; J. Austin Pollock, Chehalis, Wash.; Theo Woodrow Pollock, Ft. Ord, Calif.; Pfc. Blaine Pollock., Pol-lock., recovering in an army hospital hos-pital In Japan from wounds received re-ceived in Korea in September; Mrs. Edith Sorenson, Ventura, Calif.; Mrs. Kenneth Rubblee, San Gabriel, Calif.; Mrs. Lafayette Lafay-ette Ballard, Hurricane; Mrs. Dora Duncan, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J. M. Williams. Tucson. Arizona; Ari-zona; Mrs. Marel Bayles, Parowan, Paro-wan, and Mrs. Jack Trimble, Los Angeles; a brother. Reese Davis, Henderson, Nev.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Pollock, Kanarra; 40 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. a |
