Show Improvements To Be Made At Municipal Swimming Pool Work will start this week on improvements im-provements at the municipal swimming swim-ming pool, Improvements that will increase the useablllty of the pool, and also offer recreation for younger children. The major Items will be the Installation of glass walls a-round a-round the pool, and the building of a wading pool for youngsters. The wire fence ou the West and South sides of the pool will be replaced re-placed by glass, protecting the pool from the cool winds that prevail In Cedar City, particularly in the evenings, and It is expected that this will provide comfortable swimming swim-ming in the evenings and increase the use of the pool by adults, and will also make Is possible to open the pool earlier In the spring and keep It open later in the fall. The wading pool will be constructed construct-ed Just south of the present pool, and will be arranged for the safety of the little tots. It will be fenced In a separate enclosure from the pool, to avoid running back and forth from one pool to the other, and will also b'ave an outside entrance, so that parents may entt r th? enclosure enclos-ure and be with their children while they wade. The water in the pool will be treated Just tho gjuie as that In the swimming pool. The materials are on hand and the construction will be rushed to completion under the supervision of Moroni Perry, builder.
