Show B AC Thinclads and Tennis Players To Enter B YU Invitational Meet Coach Murray Maughan of the Branch Agricultural college will enter 24 track and field men, and two tennis players In the B Y U Invitational meet at Provo Saturday, and past performances indicate that the Bronco squad will be expected to make its usual us-ual excellent showing. The squad will leave Cedar Friday afternoon in order to get to Provo the night before the meet and be well rested for Saturday's Sat-urday's activities. Representing the B. A. C. will be the following athletes: Bill Bell, pole vault; Blaine Betenson, high Jump; Gaylen Brown, 440, 880 and relay; Clark Cox, 100, broad jump, pole vault and relay; Arthur Daly, 220 and relay; Murray Edwards, 220, 440 and relay; Drew Haight, shot and discus; Clyde Heath, shot and discus; Darol Heaton, 880 and relay; Gene Heaton, mile; Dick Hoyle, two mile and high jump; Dixie Leavitt,' shot, jave-line, jave-line, broad jump. Darwin Woodbury, low hurdles, hur-dles, broad jump, pole vault and Javelin; Mickey Lindsay, high and low hurdles, broad jump; Pat Lindsay, high and low hurdles hur-dles and high Jump; LeRay McAllister, Mc-Allister, 880, high hurdles, and relay. Riley McKee, mile. Doug McShane, high Jump. Alex Milne, broad Jump, pole vault; Bob Peterson, 100, 880 and relay; Cliff Reese, 100, 220, and relay; Ed Southwick, Javelin. Gareth Spencer, 100, 220, broad jump, and relay. LaVon Urie, 440. Carl Tuft and Donald Rosenberg Rosen-berg will enter the tennis meet as a doubles team. |
