Show Mrs. Eena Langford of Cedar City is here staying with her sister, Mrs. .Nelson Madsen. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dalley have been helping their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Helen Dalton of Paro-wan Paro-wan care for her son Fred who has been ill for some time. Mrs. Margaret Allen -and Mrs. Susanna Hulet spent Easter Sunday Sun-day in Cedar City with their relatives. rela-tives. The Sunday School put on the Easter program that was outlined outlin-ed in the Instructor, and which was enjoyed by those present. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Peterson and daughter Maxine, and their sister Mrs. Serelda Fernley, all of Caliente, Nevada were visitors at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Peterson. The occasion oc-casion was the elder Peterson's birthday. The party stayed over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Madsen took a trip to Ogden to visit with Mrs. Madsen's son Theo Smith and family. They will also visit with her daughter, Mrs. Alton Clark and family of Springvllle on their return trip home. Mesdamcs, Reta, Ella and Ar-villa Ar-villa Adams, and Mrs. Lola Logan Lo-gan and two small children, all of Cedar City, spent Friday with their mother, Mrs. Susanna Hulet in honor of her birthday. The party brought here a birthday cake. A number of our people attended at-tended the Quarterly conference in Cedar City Sunday. Frank Dalley was over from Cedar City Saturday to visit his father John Dalley. Wilford Lawrence has return ed home from Salt Lake City where he has been employed. Mrs. Rebecca Smith and son, Eldon Smith, of Parowan were visitors in Summit last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Dalley and family spent Easter Sunday in Panguitch with Mrs. Dalley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Davenport. Daven-port. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Madsen and family went to St. George for an Easter outing. They visited with relatives while they were there. Messrs. Reed Williams of Ka-narra Ka-narra and Joe Matheson of Parowan Paro-wan were here with some of the County road equipment Tuesday. Oscar J. Hulet and Alma Lawrence Law-rence left Tuesday for Salt Lake City, where they will attend a school teachers' and principals' convention. |
