Show Cedar and Parowan Legion Auxiliaries Honor State Officers Both the Cedar City American Legion Auxiliary and members of the Parowan unit honored state officers at a banquet Tuesday Tues-day evening in the Escalante hotel and mapped plans for the coming state convention August 5, 6, and 7. Lela Banks, department president presi-dent from Pleasant Grove, and Edna Workman, district seven president from Delta, were the principal speakers along with Mrs. Lona Watson, Cedar City, district vice present. Also present pres-ent was Elizabeth Perry, department depart-ment memorial chairman. Ellen Bulloch, cedar City unit president was in charge of the meeting. After the banquet the executive officers met with the visiting ladies to discuss plans of the coming American Legion State convention. Special musical numbers were given by the BAC mixed quarter, and solos by Benard Quinn. Joe Hunter gave some selections on his musical saw, accompanied by Reed BerretL |
