Committee Named To Continue Work On City Racing Plant Steps were taken Tuesday io assure as-sure the continuance of development develop-ment work on the Cedar City Race track, when new members of the Veterans organization were elected t a Joint meeting of the V. F. W. and American Legion Posts of Cedar City. The Veterans Organization, composed com-posed of representatives from the two service men's organizations. Is charged with the responsibility of developing and operating the race track under a special lease agreement agree-ment with the City. The Fqfir representatives from the "Veterans of Foreign Wars were Durrell W. Corry, Haldow E. Chrls-tensen, Chrls-tensen, William S. (Dub) Leigh, and Ardell Madsen. The American Legion representatives represen-tatives are Oayle Seegmlller, Gron-way Gron-way R. Parry, Roy Parry Urle, and Ross Woolsey. The newly appointed members will meet soon to organize, naming a chairman and other officers, after af-ter whlrfi plans or the year's activities ac-tivities will be formulated. Mr. Corry Is acting as temporary chairman until the organization is completed. |
