Show Salt Lake Produce Firm Sets Up B ft C Scholarship The E. O. Mulr Produce company com-pany of Salt Lake City has established es-tablished an additional scholarship scholar-ship at the Branch Agricultural college. The scholarship Is for $50 and will be granted to a student of the Enterprise high school majoring ma-joring In fruit and vegetable production. pro-duction. D. C. Schmutz, chairman of the agricultural division at the college, col-lege, In announcing the new scholarship, states that the company com-pany is interested in encouraging boys to grow fruits and vegetables vegeta-bles after they complete their college col-lege training. Brent Clove of the Enterprise high school will receive the newly new-ly established scholarship, Mr. Schmutz states. The company had already established a two year scholarship to go to a student stu-dent in the Hurricane area. The two year scholarship will go to Lee Klienman of Toquerville. Another Salt Lake firm, the A & Z Produce company, also awards a scholarship in the same field, Mr. Schmutz says, and Del Stout of Hurricane has been selected as the recipient of the award for the 1951-52 school year. |
