Show Students Named To Receive BAC Scholarships Recipients of businessmen's scholarships To be presented at the Branch Agricultural college, were announced this week. The scholarships are presented each year by business firms of Cedar City, to students who make outstanding out-standing records in their fields of study and who plan to continue con-tinue their work at the local school. The scholarships to date have been announced as follows: Edward Hansen, agricultural and soils, with Mack Croft, alternate and Lynn Esplin, livestock, with Duane Erickson, as alternate awarded by Bank of Southern Utah. Alvil D. Nay, building and trades, with Lloyd Heyborne, alternate, al-ternate, and Lowell Nilsson, auto mechanics, with Edwin Anderson, alternate, awarded by Cedar Lumber and Hardware. Norma Edward, vocal music, with Dix Cloward, alternate, and Torma Esplin, Instrumental music, awarded by Bradshaw Chevrolet Co. Maryliss Heaton, physical education, with Luana Nelson, alternate, awarded by Southern Utah Power company. Marilyn K. Bauer, dance, with Mary Jo Chrlstensen, alternate, awarded by Cedar City Finance. Wilbur Jennings and Clair Morris, social so-cial Science, with DeWayne Hansen Han-sen and Reuben K. Jolley, alternates, alter-nates, awarded by I. E. Riddle and Sons. Other departments have picked pick-ed outstanding students who will receive scholarships if the funds come in before the end of the school year.
