Their purpose Is to encourage students to know: A penny saved is a penny earned; To teach proper banking technique; to ttiow savings will increase in value at regular interest in-terest due to Interest being paid; encourage students to put surplus money in the bank or to buy United States War Savings stamps, and boiv'.s. Their bunk will be open for business bus-iness during the hours of Morning 8:20 to 9.00, night 4:00 to 4:13, There will be interest paid by the rchool for money put in the bank If it Is left 30 days. There will be special ways for selling U. S. bonds and stamps. It will probably be on each Wednesday. When five dollars nave been ac-cumubtcd ac-cumubtcd they will do one of three things: Transfer to city bank for permanent account; UJ to purchase pur-chase Bonds and stamps; Leave in school bond at the regular Interest. In-terest. The bank will be located In room number 10.
