Show V Lady Elks Honor Past Officers At Luncheon The outgoing officers of the Cedar Ce-dar City Lady Elks Club were honored hon-ored at a luncheon given Friday afternoon at the Wigwam Room of the Sliver Leaf Inn. A color scheme of purple and white was carried out in the table decorations, the centerpiece being composed of spring flowers, with place cards consisting of tiny purple and white baskets filled with candy and nuts. A carnation corsage and a fortune, tied with purple and white ribbon, was also placed at each plate. Mrs. Nina Heaton, president of the organization, presided at the luncheon while Mrs. Idona Smith acted as toastmistress. Mrs. Delna Arthur, past president, and Mrs. Blllie Clark, member of the executive execu-tive committee, responded to toasts after which a tribute to Mrs. Arthur, written by Mrs. Blanche Corry, was read by Mrs. Delores Oraff. Various members present were called call-ed upon to contribute Impromptu numbers to the program which was concluded with community slnglna of a song especially composed for the occasion by Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Graff. A special feature of the afternoon after-noon was the presentation to the outgoing officers of dainty gifts wrapped in purple and white. The honored guests Included Mrs. Delma Arthur, president; Mrs. Flossie Harris, vice president; Mrs. Ruth Shay, secretary - treasurer; Mrs. Esther Perry. Mrs. Winifred Rosenberg, Mrs. Blllie Clark and Mrs. Grace Morris, executive committee; com-mittee; Mrs. Emily Lamoreaux. chaDlaln: and Mrs. Tdonnn Smith chorister.
