Show Brain Abcess Causes Death of Parowan Youth Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon In the Parowan West Ward church for Ronald David Richards, 15, who died early Monday Mon-day morning at the Iron County hospital from what the doctors diagnosed di-agnosed as a brain abscess. The unfortunate youth woke Saturday morning with a severe headache which steadily grew worse until at 11 o'clock he went into convlusions. and lapsed Into a coma from which he never regained consciousness. He was rushed to the local hospital Saturday noon, but failed to respond re-spond to treatment, with death occurring oc-curring early Monday. He was born in Parowan on June 12, 1926, a son of David and the late Dean Marsden Richards. At the time of his death he was a sophomore student at the Parowan high school. Survivors include his father and five brothers, Carl Richards of Cedar Ce-dar City, and Arden, Clair, Reed and Lucius Dean Richards, all ol Parowan; and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary M. Marsden, also of Parowan. |
