Show Catholic Church To Sponsor Series Of Holy Week Programs The local Catholic church will sponsor an unusual series of radio programs In commemoration of the events of the first Holy Week, it was announced today by Father LeMay. It will consist of six successive suc-cessive programs, to be presented over radio station KSUB, beginning on Tuesday. April 8, at 7 p. m. and continuing each day through Saturday, Sat-urday, at the same hour. The Sunday Sun-day broadcast in this series will be presented at 6 p. m. "An ingenious dramatic device," according to the producers of the program, "will place a radio announcer an-nouncer on a roving assignment in Jerusalem during the first Holy Week. He gives a first-hand account ac-count of everything he sees during the week, and moves his portable microphone about advantageously, enabling one to hear Jesus Christ, His Apostles, the Two Thieves, Pilate, Judas, Mary Magdalene, and all of the other important participants partici-pants in those events that constituted consti-tuted the greatest drama of the ages. Sheen The program on Sunday, Ar.-ll 13, will consist of an Easter sermon by the' famous preacher, Monsignor Fulton J. Sheen. The program for the week is as follows: April 8 "The Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem." April 9 "The Last Supper." April 10 "The Trial." April 11 "The Crucifixion." April 12 "The Resurrection."
