Classes will be held twice dally, the same class being given in the mornings morn-ings and afternoons so that all employees em-ployees will be able to attend the complete course. It is felt that the employees of the various var-ious business houses throughout the city play an important part in selling, not only the company for whom they work, but also the city and surrounding country to those people from the outside with whom they come in contact. It is also feit that if those employees are trained in making friendly contacts with strangers, they will help materially in creating a trade center here and In bringing in outside people. A meeting was held Monday evening even-ing with officials of both Chambers Cham-bers of Commerce and various employers em-ployers throughout the city fn order or-der to get the reaction of the em ployers toward the desirability of conducting such a school as has been planned. Several employers were present at the meeting and all expressed enthusiasm at the Mea and promised their utmost cooperation. co-operation. Mr. Isom requests that all business busi-ness people contact the officials of the Chamber of Commerce as soon as possible in order that they can ascertain the attitude of the townspeople toward the school. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, appre-ciated, according to Mr. Isom, and all question cheerfully answered. In order to make a success of the proposed pro-posed tourist and trade school, it will be necessary to have the closest clos-est cooperation among the various business houses and their employees and it is hoped that the town will get behind this project one hundred hun-dred percent. ft . |
