Show Parowan citizens were very pleased to have tho attendance of Mr. and Mrs, U. T. Jones of Cedar City at tho Pioneer celebration. Harlcy Dalton left last week for a trip over to Moccasin, Arizona. That ; seems rather a funny place to go for ; a pleasure trip, but then w The little baby of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Jensen sustained quite a severe burn last week from setting down in a basin of hot water. It in gotting along nicely at this time. Dr. and Mrs. Green returned last Saturday from a visit of several woekB duration in Salt Luko City. While away the doctor took the state medical examination and returned with a state certificate in hla poscs-sion. poscs-sion. Mr. and Mrs. Green report having hav-ing had a pleasant time while- away. Mayor Bayles had his proclamation proclama-tion read last Sunday evening, in which ho set apart January 13th, Pioneer Day, as a legal holiday for Parowan. Schools will be closed and our citizenB will honor the foundcis of our city, by meeting together, partaking par-taking of refreshments, listening to speeches, music, readings and engaging engag-ing in dancing. |
