Show M IS. A. C.'S NEW EMBLEM. V ANOTHER bright, well-written is- H - sue of The Student, the II. A. C. H school paper, issued this week from H the press of Tho Record. One of the B most striking features of this num- H bcr is thq now design for the seal nnd H. monogram of tho school which is fen- H turcd on the front cover and which in H a slightly modified form is to bo used H on all the publicity matter emiuating H from the college. Tho monogram con- H sists of a large "A" with bold lines, Hj in tho upper portion of which, is B nested a capital "B", but very much B subordinated to the A. In tho lower H half of the bold A is couched a cap- H t ital "C" of nn extended typo, but like H ! tho B of light lines. The idea is to B ' feuturc the "A" which stands for H Agriculture, tho dominating principle H of the school. B Tho suggestion from which the do- B sign was worked out, was submitted B by Wilson Lunt in response to Mr. B Homer's announcement of a cash B prize of $10.00 for tho best design B of an emblem for the school. The em- B blcm when fully completed will in- B cludo the cut of a sheaf of wheat and B u sickle. |
