Show BRANCH A. C. NOTES. BETH HAMBLIN, Correspondent. A DEATH: A Mr. Steer, member of tho B. A. C. farm society, dies after af-ter two hours of illness. Dr. Leonard, tho attending physician, gives as the -uuse of death, indigestion. Arrangements are now being made for tho Round-up. Mr. Homer Is trying try-ing to clear up all business in tho organizing or-ganizing of second semester courses before the Round-up, so that neither one will be neglected. Mr. Janson has organized a banking system in tho Business department for the benefit of his accounting students. stu-dents. He believes in having students "do a little of it" instead of juBt "learning a little of it." Next Friday night tho "Winter Iron-Clads" wilt hold forth with a dancing party. If the boys entertain as successfully in their danco as they did in their chapel, it will pay every man, woman and child to bo there. A great many students are interested interest-ed in dramatics this year. The college col-lege intends to put on two playB and with such a large number to choose from for thecharactersj it will undoubtedly un-doubtedly produce plays of worth. Last Saturday night the D. D's., a secret society of the B. A. C, gave a masquerade ball in honor of tho Junior Jun-ior class. Many characters were represented rep-resented and every Blngle guest had a jolly time. Such balls as this are, at tho present time, few and far apart For this reason, besides others, the affair was a splendid success and a credit to tho hosts. The "Ag" club entertained in a chapel period last Tuesday. The following fol-lowing program .was given: Male quartet, "Ag" Quartet Violin solo Otto Dalley Talk Leonard Bowen Male quartet "Ag" Quartet Current events .... Nelson Marsden Cornet duet Piatt & Stapley Before the regular chapel began the band gave a short concert, receiving re-ceiving loud applause for its efforts. |
