Show -EATH CLAIMS SCOTT CUTLER. (Kane County News.) After suffering intensely for many nonthB from a complication of dis-'ases dis-'ases Mr. H. S. Cutler known throughout through-out tho state as "Scott," died at the family residence in Kanab at eleven o'clock last Tuesday night. His death was not unexpected, and every member mem-ber of tho family was near when the nnd came. "Scott" Cutler has been a prominent promi-nent figure in southern Utah for many years, having served Kane as county attorney and as representative in the lower house of the legislature durinp ono term. Ho was extraordinarily largo in stature and was a favorite mark for photographers and cartoonists cartoon-ists during his legislative career. Tho funeral wob held in the ward hall yesterday at 2 p. m., and a large number of relatives and friends were in attendance. Besides a large number num-ber of relatives throughout the state, Scott Cutler leaves a wifo and the following fol-lowing children: H. S. Jr., Carrie, Maggie, Millie, Russell, Sarep'ta, Bertha, Ber-tha, Dean, Juaneta and Mark. The entire county feels keenly the loss of one of its most prominent citizens, and everybody extends the hand of sympathy to the bereaved wife and children in their groat loss. |
