Sealed proposals for the furnishing fur-nishing of all material and construction con-struction of three thousand and fifty feet of twenty-four inch, inside in-side diameter, continuous stave wood pipe, at a point about one and one-half mileaeast of Cedar City Iron county, Utah, along the line designated for the construction con-struction of said pipe line by the Cedar Electric company, will be received by the Secretary-Treasurer Secretary-Treasurer of said Cedar Electric company, until 8 o'clock p. m. on Monday, the 26th day of May 1913. All proposals must be given in terms of cost per linear foot of pipe, constructecl and bandedaa per -fepecjf-cafcidns"' to-be to-be furnished by the company, with the pressure head to be taken as indicated by the profile pro-file of the company's grade line on which the pipe is to be built. All proposals must be accompanied accom-panied by a check for $500.00 drawn on some reputable bank and certified by its cashier; said check to be made payable to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Cedar, Electric company. The above mentioned pipe is to bo constructed on the company's com-pany's grade line in Coal Creek Canyon, above and leading to the company's plant. Bids for the same must be in terms of foot of pipe properly constructed for maximum heads as specified. Proposals should be enclosed in a sealed envelope accompanied accom-panied by the check and marked "Bid on Proposed Pipe-line;" this envelope to be enclosed and forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer Secretary-Treasurer of the company at Cedar City, Utah. The grade upon which the pipeline is to be built is in an open valley with no open cuts or bad curves. The line is practically straight having only two ten-degree curves in its entire en-tire length; these at stations 13-00 and 26-00 respectively and no shaip vertical curves. The bidder should state the earliest date upon which he can start the work of construction and latest date for completion, wlifcn'in no event must tliedate of completion be later than August 20, 1913. All hauling a'nd distributing of material (lumber, bands, shoes, and tongues) and the building of any substructures for the supp .rt of the pipe-line will be done by the Cedar EUctric company. J. H.
