The Indiana university uni-versity authorities havo established a censorship of clothes worn by tho "coeds." "co-eds." Tho censorship is in chargo of Miss Ruby C. E. Mason, dean of women, who Is attending all dances and Inspecting In-specting tho frocks and gowns. If tho evening gowns of tho girls do not conform to regulations as to length and stylo, tho wearers aro sent buck to tholr rooms for a chango of attire. This has happenod to Bevoral young women recently. Tho censorship Is established because ot tho loyalty of the Indiana "co-edB" to tho prevailing styles, especially in dancing frocks. Tho frocks have been cut so low from the chin and so high from tho ground that they havo been shocking to somo, tho university authorities say, all during the winter. |
