Ho is with Salt Lake Route and sees great possibilities for Nada valley. Sheep Inspector Pass of Ogden, called call-ed at Nada Wednesday and asked that quarantine notice be posted six months longer. It is to bo sincerely hoped that tho disease among the sheep will be entirely eradicated as all possible precaution is being takan. Mrs. G. M. Lewis, an ardent, enthusiast en-thusiast and member of Nada Commercial Com-mercial Club, is boosting for Utah while visiting in Los Angeles and through her glowing description Mr. Gregg, superintendent L. A. R. R. expects ex-pects to visit us soon. Mr. D. Noi'ris, a friend of Mr. Rambler, stopped off a day at Nada. He had mado an extended trip through the northern part of the state, but wished to see Nada, as his son is interested in-terested in dry farming, and on departing de-parting left the assurance that we wduld see him again, and his son also. Mrs. Mistta Huntsberger und daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. E. Brown, with her bright little son Stuart, all of Norfolk, Neb, who are en route for the Exposition spent a few days visiting their old friends Dr. and Mrs. L. A.'Culmsee. They were delighted with the scenery and climate, also the life on the so-called so-called desert and when they return to Nebraska, will givo glowing accounts of present pioneering in Utah. The world is small after all, was proven when the Nebraska ladies as soon as Tho Iron County Record fell into their hands exclaimed "Clayton S, Rice is in Cedar City, ho is an old friend and neighbor of ours." |
