Show OLD FASHIONED PARTY IS SOCIAL SUCCESS. A more enjoyable Bocial function has not been held in Cedar City this icason, from all accounts, than the Old Fashioned ball that was held in 'he B. A. C. auditorium last Wednesday Wednes-day night. The crowd was of moderate moder-ate size and financially the party was not a pronounced success, but 't proved a real social treat. Tho costumes wero exceptionally fine. Some wero very becoming, and not a few had been brought all the vny from tho old country by converts o tho church. Mrs. B. F. Knell was awarded first irizo, tin umbrella stand, and deserves if special commendation for her excellent ex-cellent make-up. Mrs. Pace, Mrs. Wrigloy, Mrs. K. L. Jones, Mrs. L. W. Jones, Mrs. Men-lenhall, Men-lenhall, Mrs. C. S. Rice, Mrs. R. S. jardnor, Miss Warnick and Mrs. Parley Par-ley Dalloy are all deserving of spec-'al spec-'al mention, their costumes evincing taste and ingenuity of a high order, The evening wns pleasantly pascd in treading old-fashioned dances and n other forms of social intercourse. |
