Show PARAGONAH. Paragonah, Utah, Feb. 8, 1917. Elbert Robinson met with a painful accident this week while hauling wood from Mineral Canyon. He and his brother Amos had loaded the wagon, which Elbert waa driving, his brother following on horse-back. In some way the wagon capsized, planing the driver driv-er beneath a heavy log, which his brother bro-ther with much difficulty, succeeded in removing from the unfortunate man's arm and shoulder. Fortunately no bones were broken, but the arm and hand were severely bruised and badly sprained. Mies Pearl Hunt left for Cedar City last Tuesday, where she has employment. employ-ment. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Jones, Mrs. Sarah Jones and Mr. J. J. Jones, left yesterday for Adamsville to attend the funeral services of their sister, Mrs. Mary Anne Stewart, who passed away on the 3rd inst. B 0 .' D. A. Lamoreaux left Monday morning morn-ing for Panguitch fo attend the funeral fun-eral services of his brother Andrew, who died this week at ML Carniel. The funeral services would be held Wednesday. The Agricultural Club from the B. A. C. rendered a creditable and entertaining en-tertaining program here on Sunday afternoon, which was much appreciated. appreciat-ed. There is encouraging talk of a roller flour mill for Paragonah, to be installed in-stalled in Red Creek canyon. This is a move in the right direction. This is one of the best wheat sections of the county, and the power conditions in the canyon are ideal. |
