Show NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAX. Curb and Gutter Extension No. 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City Council of Cedar City, Utah, of tho intention of such council to make tho following described improvements, im-provements, to-wit: To grade and construct cement curb and gutter along tho established curb lines on both sides cf mnln street between be-tween Center street and First North street, in paving district No. one, (said curb to bo sixteen (10) inches high, ten (10) inches wide at tho base, and six (G) inches wide at tho top; said gutter to bo approximately eight and ono-half (8) inches thick, and two (2) feet six (6) inches wide, same to include a throe-fourth (54) inch topping top-ping over all exposed surfaces, according ac-cording to plans, profiles and specifications speci-fications on fllo in tho Office or tho City Recordor, and defray tho abutters abut-ters portion of tho cost and expense thereof by a local assessment upon tho lota or pieces of ground to bo affected and benefitted by said improvement, situated within Blocks thirty-six (8G) and thirty-seven (37), Plat "B", of Cedar City Town Survey, fronting or abutting upon the street above named and to a depth of fifty (CO) feet from said street. The total cost of said improvements is estimated at three thousand ono hundred nnd eighty-seven dollars and eighty-four cents ($3,187.84), or one dollar and twenty-eight cents ($1.28) per front or linear foot of abutting property. AH, protests and objections to the carrying out of such intention must bo presented in writing, stating therein there-in lot and block, or description of property, prop-erty, to tho City Recordor on or before tho 2nd day of August, 1910. Tho City Council at its first regular meeting thereafter, to-wit: tho 3rd day of August, 1016, will consider tho proposed levy, and hear and consider j sued protests and objections to said i improvement as shall have been made. !
