Mr. Fass Rowland the Signal Corps, U. S. A. while we nearly joined the Ordnance Corps. But a!ns, our teeth and other bad faults kept us out. Much to our disgust. i At the next regular! meeting of the club we will elect ollicers for the ensuing en-suing six months. We mean to keep the club humming until the return of all our people next year then wc mean to make things jy, believe me. Mrs. Kail Markwith expects to leave for Los An.'.'clos soon on a visit. The general Pete Cam is also expected expect-ed to leave. Two more from an nl-ready nl-ready depleted community means a lot. Hut at the same time we will have a grand time welcoming them home. Pursuant to our promise made to the "kiddies'' we have sent for the medals to be given to those who havfr not missed a Sunday during the past ix months In their Sunday School nt-tendance, nt-tendance, our Sunday School is holding hold-ing its own valiantly in spite of the haidfeap of so many going out for the winter. Bui right now we are enjoying delightful de-lightful weather, and while we are glad on account of present comfort; to i e such fine weather, the fact remains re-mains that snow is what we renliy need. Personally we are grieving over the total loss of three acres of fine beans and two acres of Sedan besides be-sides other crops, due to the ravages of the rabbits and wild horses. Wc are also wearing faces of mourning for our faithful house cat killed by the coyotes, and we earnestly hope that we may kill a great many coyotes coy-otes to avenge her death. About all the people left at Sahara ami the repair gang of E. Butts went on ji holiday trip Wednesday. Wc took rifles and shot guns and went three miles north of Sahara after rabbits. Killed outright 191 Jacks and crippled possibly as many more. Had a delightful firne which also included in-cluded an excellent luncheon.' Aflcr the hunt we had an evi nings enjoyment enjoy-ment dancing. Ths OUtfli repair cars, under E. Hutts, doing railroad repair work, arrived ar-rived at Sahara Monday, December 17th and are repairing the company" property at tins place, The crew consists of K. Hutts, foreman; A. Johnson of Oasis, Utah; C. Buck of Oklahoma, w. E. Pifilen of Iowa, w. I.. Bhulti of El Ranchoi Conjo Jim and Mrs. Jim Baker of Sahara. Krom this place the crew will move to Beryl U) rebuild ths section house just moved to that place. The club is planning a taffy pull for Christmas Eva, We expect te have ;i very good time, But ths messier mess-ier it is the better it tastes.
