Show COUNTY DRAFT HOARD HI SV The County Draft Hoard is again wrestling with the enforcement of the provisions of the conscription act and the instructions i-sued by the I'rovost (leneial's office. Two sessions j of the board has been held this week, on Wednesday and Thursday, and two sions are scheduled for next week. At the present time the Hoard has been able to classify about 200 of the 669 men involved. Action on the papers of a number Of the men has been held up on account ac-count of the failure of some of the men to complete their blanks. Sev-' Sev-' tal, the members of the board state, have failed to answer the question at the bottom of the page on the Qucs- inaiiv, "Do you claim exemption or deferred classification ill respect to ft the registrant named above'."' Others have failed to sign the oath uu page IS. In cases of this kind the registrant ll required to appear personally before be-fore the Board for the completion of his papers, thus causing him extra i rouble and expense. |
