Show Bndly Needed. I Ono thing that is very badly .needed in Cedar is a coal yard. For sovoral years past it has heei 'iext tojmpossible to sret coal n the spring, bocnuse of the fnct that tho minois usually quit mining min-ing about holiday time, ami the people run out of coal before they again commence mining. It would certainly be a good thing for some one to erect a bin and keep constantly on hand a supply of coal for all purposes both winter and summer. A deal could be made with, the miners whoruby sufficient coal could be got to fill up bins in the fall which would last through until tho fall following. If this was donu it would be worth while for the miners to begin oixjmtions earlier in the year and be kept constartly at work, and it would also oliminate tho rush to the mines during the first cold snap that strike, the town. Thoro would bo no need of having to pull horses to death in the stormy season, as all the coal Quld be hauled and stored bdfbrc Tt sets in. Think the matter over some of "you'lTusiness people, and see if it is not possible for you to drect bins before the coming fall. |
