Just in the proportion as a committee com-mittee is alert, and enthusiastic, about its duties will the success of the departmentpvhich it represents re-presents be successful. The task of the committees is a, hard one. They are the generals- on whom the fight depends, but success can not be had by their efforts alone; the general public must work, and think, and talk, about the Fair from now until the opening op-ening day. Let every one sense his own responsibility for the success of the undertaking, and we will have a Fair whose interest will spread beyond the borders of the county and whose influence will be felt even beyond the limits of the state. |
