Show Pa rowan Parowan, Utah, August 1st. A mass meeting of tho citizens was hold last evening for the purpose of deciding what kind of pipes would bo used in installing tho water system. After considerable consid-erable discussion a vote was taken tak-en which resulted in favor of wood pipes. Mrs. Albort Warren, who has been visiting relatives hero, returned re-turned to her homo in Salt Lako City yesterday. Miss Una Morris, daughter of Wm. T. Morris, is vorv ill. Thomas Rowley has moved his family to tho mountains for a month or so whilo ho is engaged at tho Equitablo saw mill. Mr. R. R. Page and Mrs. D. R. Pago arrived from Turlock, California, yestorday. Mrs. Page will remain indefinitely with her mothor and relatives. Mrs. Geo. H. Benson has returned re-turned homo from the summer school in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Delilah Dalton and little granddaughter aro herefrom Los Angeles visiting relatives. Mr. R. R. Pago will leave for Lund tomorrow. Mr. Geo. R. Gunn, Alfred J. Gunn and James A. Benson will accompany Mr. Page, and from Lund they will take mining supplies to tho well known Homo Stake property on Iron Mountain, whero extensivo development work will be done. Mr. Pago expects to soon make a shipment of ore. |
