Show " ii I i 1 in i -. A Lie Nailed. Bunkerville, Nov.-, Oct. 14. Editor Record: -Allow me ; room in your valuable paper to nail a wilful and malicious lie. There is an article in your paper over Scott Huntington's signature signa-ture which is ons without the least foundation .of truth. I have been acquainted with Mr. Mason for nearly a ;y ear and know his work to is superior ,to any that has beonsdone in .Richfield, my home, .andjhavf! ihcard musicians express rtihemselves in Wayne, Garfield, .Piute, JKane and Wash ington iCaunties and all have beea laud an itlie praise of Mr. Mason's work, almost invariably saying tthore Jmd never been work o ..eflualihis and have never heard a good word spoken for Huntington. The trouble with . him was tthat he came to St. Geoojge andifound Mason there at work and the promise of nearly tail tfhe instruments there. Mason ituned to my knowledge thirty ithree pianos in St. George and Huntington offered to tune some free of charge but the people ithere turned him down ana payed IMason $7.50 to do their .work, $2.50 more than either Huntington or Loichliter asked for their work. They were tsore because they cuuld get iiiD work there and Mason was .working all the tinie and stayed over a week after they were .gone" and was busy all the I time. His ' work there was pronounced first class "by their chorister also organist of the " ' ajpT " tabernacle. I knqwitthat he is.( a first class man and"his equal is ! 5 not to be found in southern Utah. IS An.1 as far as Huntington is con- cerned he is not even equal to ! carrying tools for Mgson. , j Hoping you will see the neccs- j sity of publishing tiys to give a ; j man that is qualified justice I again say it is a wilful and malicious lie created by the soreness of said Huntington, I j am, ' -k 'l Yours truly- i ROYAL G.NEBEKER. i |
