Mrs. Lurcne Taylor is quite ill with rheumatism. Vm. Chinn is home again after several month's absence with tho sheep. Evelyn Prince hns bought the home of Lawrence Prince and will move in soon. Our school started yesterday after being closed fo six weeks on account of whooping cough nnd flu. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schmutz who has been ill for some timo is much improved nt this writing. Miss Norn Ballard returned to her homo in Grafton Saturday after n few days visit hero with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Frank Kelsey. Dougherty Dough-erty have been busy hnuling wood the last few days. Mrs. G. E. Griffin nnd little daughter Ruth called on Mrs. V. M. Carlson Inst Wednesday afternoon. We arc nil glad to welcome Mrs. A. E. Phillips back home. She is taking charge of the postoffico ngain. - Mr. H. C. Dnvis made n business trip to Snlt Lake City and o,n his way back stopped off here to look after his ranch and spend a day with relatives. Miss Vnlborg Magnussen returned from Modcna Thursday evening accompanied ac-companied by her sister, Mrs. II. C. Dnvis, who spent n few days with her parents here. The Sahara Civic Center Club will hnve a regular meeting again Saturday Satur-day evening, March Gth. We hope to have nil tho members present, ns there is quite n bit of business to bring before be-fore the club. On Saturday evening, Feb. 28 nn old time club meeting, with eats and enjoyments took plnco at the school house, everybody seemed to have a good timo and wo promise moTC of them. Come nnd help us be merry. Mr. Gilbert Corn came home last Saturday evening to help Mr. V. M. Carlson dig his well. Mr. Carlson intends in-tends to put down a well that will supply water for irrigation and wo say "Good for V. M. We all wish you success, Vic." J t SUMMIT J Summit, March 4, 1920. Alex Dallcy and family have moved to Delta where they expect to mnko their home. Miss Leono Dalley went to Beaver this week to visit with her sister, Mrs. Imogeno Cowdcll. Harold Smith who has been at tho sheep herd for some timo is home again visiting among friends. There wns a total of 14 cases here, 12 of those being nt the Winn Farm. About six inches of snow fell here yesterdny and last night. Dallcy who has just recovered from tho flu expects to return re-turn to Cedar City soon to take caro of her sons Jessie and Oricn who are attending the B. A. C. All public gatherings ns well as school have reopened this week with n good attendance at school. Mrs. John H. Dalley is teaching the grammar gram-mar grades in place of her husband who is ill. Bums Tebbs returned from a visit to his homo in Panguitch recently nnd Ernest LcFevre, who has had charge of the sheep camp during his absence ab-sence has gone home for a few days visit, uftcr which he will return nnd care for a flock of sheep owned by J. II. Lindford. The report of the opening of the Thermo school in last week's letter appears to have been a little previous The board decided it was too late in the school year to re-open. De Q. Wix came down from Mil-ford Mil-ford to look after his own and George Meyer's property here. The Wix family fam-ily will soon return to their ranch. J. II. Lindford, who hns charge of the C. D. Vaughn place has quietly , and unostentatiously been relieved of a quantity of oats, a pump, .10 gallons of gas, ,and 10 gallons of oil. The thieves aren't all dead yet. Howard Dinwiddio is working for J. C. Hnrter at Newhousc. Wallace Couch is about to tako up residence on his claim near Latimer, and expects to begin right. He received re-ceived his new Economy engine nnd pump last week and ns soon as the weather permits, will have n well drilled.
