Show OBITUARY. Dooly. William L. Dooly died last Friday morning at the residence of his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Katherine Belcher. For several sev-eral months past Mr. Dooly was seriously seri-ously ill with Bright's disease, and death was to him a merciful release from suffering, but to his devoted sisters sis-ters and brothers his death is an irreparable ir-reparable loss. He was a man of kindly, generous disposition, faithful in his friendships and his loss is deeply mourned by hosts of friends. The funeral services were held on Saturday. . Rev. Father Morrissey, officiated of-ficiated and beautiful music was rendered ren-dered by a quartette from the St. Mary's Cathedral choir, with Clara Tafek of the junior choir, assisting. To the sorrowing relatives the earnest ear-nest sympathy of many is extended. May his soul rest in peace! I Johanson. After an extended Illness, Mrs. A. A. Johanson passed peacefully away last Monday. Deceased was a most estimable esti-mable kind-hearted woman, who was i at all times ready to assist in any undertaking un-dertaking that would relieve or assist those in need. The bereaved husband and son have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in the loss of a faithful wife and devoted mother. The funeral services serv-ices were held on Wednesday from the Thirteenth Ward meeting house, Bishop Empey conducting the services, interment, inter-ment, was in the City cemetery. Palmer. The heartfelt sympathy of many friends is extended to Eugene B. Palmer Pal-mer of the Herald staff in his sorrow over the loss of his little son, who died last Saturday. The death of the bright baby reopened all the past grief occasioned occa-sioned by the death of the little one's mother eighteen months ago. The heart-ache caused by the baby's death should be lessened in the consoling consol-ing thought that the little traveler was not alone on his way to the heavenly home. It is sweet to think that "baby's" dear young mother met her darling so little and so sweet, and that in her lov- I ing arms the journey to Angel-land was ended in loving content! Boudreau. The death of little 4-year-old Margaret Mar-garet Eva Boudreau on last Wednesday : is a crushing blow to the loving par-j par-j ents. The little one was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Boudreau of this ' city. She was ill only a short time , with diphtheria. j The funeral, which was private, oc-I oc-I curred on Thursday afternoon, inter-' inter-' ment being in Calvary cemetery, Rev. ; Father Morrissey officiating. Little Margaret was a most winsome child, with a beautiful face and all the loving ways of babyhood. 1 The sorrow in the bereaved household is indeed great, but dear little Margaret is safe forever from all grief and pain. A wee, fragrant rosebud transplanted to God's own beautiful garden! Traughber. ' The news of the death of Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Traughber brought sorrow to the ! hearts of many friends who knew and loved the kindly, charming woman. She was a resident of this city for many years, and died Tuesday and was buried from the home of her parents par-ents in Kansas City Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Traughber have been residing in Anaconda for the past few months, but the poor health of Mrs. Traughber decided de-cided him to take her to Kansas City. The trip proved too much for her in her weakened condition. To the bereaved husband the sympathy sym-pathy of all is extended. Everything that medical skill and care could do was sought by him to relieve his suffering suf-fering wife. His tender devotion relieved re-lieved many a weary pain-laden hour. May the thought of the eternal peace and rest of his beloved wife prove consoling con-soling to him in this hour of bitter trial. Barry. Little Willie Barry, who came to Salt Lake five weeks ago to attend school with his sister Margaret Barry, was taken down with a severe cold which developed into pneumonia, resulting in death. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Barry, who, with two daughters and a son, reside in Tecoma, Nev., when informed of his death, came at once to Salt Lake to arrange for the funeral." They reached "Wf: m Jig i Salt Lake on Sunday night and the remains re-mains were interred in Calvary cemetery ceme-tery on Tuesday. Little Willie, during his brief sojourn in Salt Lake, has endeared en-deared himself to all his compaions. Gentle as a little girl, his charming, winsome ways lent charm to his attractions. attrac-tions. The beloved parents were heartbroken heart-broken at the unexpected and sudden demise qf their much-beloved child, who was 10 years and 6 months old. Only, their strong Christian faith could reconcile them to their unhappy fate. The thought that the Innocent soul of their dear departed Willie was happy and would one day be united with them in blissful immortality soothed their depressed hearts. The Intermountain Inter-mountain Catholic extends sympathy to all the family. |
